Rothesay (1957)
A quarter plate negative. On board the Royal Navy frigate Rothesay (1957) in the fitting out berth of Yarrow & Co Ltd at Scotstoun, Glasgow. On the port side of 01 deck abreast the foremast looking aft. In the right foreground is the 25 feet motor cutter in its davits. On 1 deck aft are four single 21 inch torpedo tubes angled to fire 45° abaft the beam. In the background is the Blue Funnel passenger/cargo liner Peleus (1949) which sailed from Glasgow on 28 April 1960. A vertical format negative.
