Mrs Maureen Catherine Allan standing at the foot of the steps on the launch platform in the East Yard of John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank, after naming and launching the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959). Alongside her is Lord Aberconway, the Chairman of the shipbuilders. He is dressed in a suit, company tie and bowler hat and is holding an umbrella.
