Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion
A 2¼ square roll film negative. A deck view of the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. The photographer is on a crane on the quayside very close alongside the bridge looking aft and to starboard showing the Mk 6 director on the left, the lattice tower for the Type 277Q radar aerial, the foremast, funnel, emergency conning position, and the mainmast. The 25 feet motor boat is covered. A Royal Marine is on deck in the foreground.
