Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion

A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the navigating officer's cabin on the port side of 1 deck between 28 and 30 stations looking forward. On the port bulkhead is a wash basin and a toiletries cabinet. On the forward bulkhead is a bookshelf and telephone with a closed scuttle. On the right is a bunk berth over a secretaire and drawers. A tubular steel framed armchair is in the centre.
