Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion

A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the operations room on 1 deck between 31½ and 35½ stations looking to port from the starboard side. The captain's high chair and visual display unit are on the right. Beyond the chair is the air/sea direction officer's position. A communications rating's position is on the left against the aft bulkhead and beyond that is the electronic warfare controller's position with his assistant's position on his left.
