Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion

A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the C.R.B.F. (close range blind fire) power room on the port side of 1 deck between 55½ and 58 stations, looking aft and slightly to port from the doorway. On the left is the officer's location board hanging on the side of a shelving unit with wire mesh front. On the aft bulkhead is a change-over switch panel made by Watford Electric & Manufacturing Co Ltd. On the right is a main switch rectifier made by Westinghouse Brake & Signal Co Ltd. and in the corner is a sloping top desk with hinged side shelf.
