Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion
A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the gunbay on 2 deck between 20½ and 25½ stations. The photographer is looking forward on the starboard side at bays 2, 3, 4 and 5. In bay 2 is a rectifier, a motor generator is in bay 3, a steel tool cupboard with an heavy duty vice is in bay 4 and a ready use cartridge locker is in bay 5. The shell and cartridge troughs encircle the gun turret revolving platform on the left.
