Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion
A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the transmitting station on the starboard side of 2 deck between 26½ and 28½ stations. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard showing, on the right, a generator (strobe) and signal unit with a star shell control panel Mk 1 above it and a radar visual display unit at the top. In the starboard forward corner against bulkhead 26½ is a gunnery control unit with the armament communications desk next to it. On the left are junction boxes for gun direction and fire control.
