Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion
A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the transmitting station annexe on the starboard side of 2 deck between 28½ and 31 stations. The photographer is looking to starboard and slightly aft showing, on the right, the gyro supply unit and the G.R.U. stabilizer on its flexible mountings. A wooden work desk is in the centre of the aft bulkhead with a contactor panel and a relay panel nearer the ship's side. Radar spares units are on the left.
