Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion

A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the regulating office on the port side of 2 deck between 29½ and 31 stations. The photographer is looking to starboard from the ship's side showing the bunk, a washbasin, mirror and wardrobe on the left. On the right are a kit locker with a book rack and cupboard above it, a desk and a set of steel pigeon holes. The lower three rows of pigeon holes are covered with a mesh screen.
