Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion
A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the main signal office on the port side of 2 deck between 32½ and 34 stations. The photographer is looking to port from the doorway showing a desk and table on the left with a telephone switchboard on the desk and a voicepipe to the enclosed bridge. Above the table is a signal state board. On the right are a hinged table, pigeon holes, book shelves, an high level key cabinet, a radiator and a safe.
