Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion

A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the wardroom on the starboard side of 2 deck between 35 and 41 stations. The photographer is looking aft and to port from near the starboard forward corner. Above the fireplace is a print of HM Queen Elizabeth II by Pietro Annigoni, 1955. In the port aft corner above the curved settee is a framed photograph of the cruiser Yarmouth (1911) and a book with H.M.S. Yarmouth printed on the cover. A notice board and mail depository is on the inboard bulkhead andan emergany lamp is to the left of the door.
