Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion

A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the combined radar office on the port side of 2 deck between 36¼ and 41 stations. The photographer is looking aft and to port from near the door showing a control unit in the centre and a bearing resolver on the aft bulkhead. A wooden cabinet on the deckhead contains a w/guide extension piece for receiver test and 2 w/guide spanners. On the extreme right is a visual display unit and a receiving unit, each with their own operator's chair, and next is a rectifier and modulator unit.
