Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion

A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the officers' galley on the port side of 2 deck between 41 and 42¾ stations. The photographer is looking to port from the door showing a steel worktop and sink unit with shelves, cupboards and drawers under, a steel rack above and a wooden stool alongside. On the left is an Electrolux refrigerator with a grill over an electric range beyond it and a steel shelf above. The control unit for the electric range is on the ship's side ahead of the scuttle.
