Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion

A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the engineer's and electrical office on the port side of 2 deck between 47 and 49 stations. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard from the aft port corner. On the right is a desk with a slightly sloping top, above which are electrical schematics in frames. On the left is a bench with drawers under and a key cabinet and cupboards above. An emergency lamp is to the left of the door.
