Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion
A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the crew's galley on the starboard side of 2 deck between 41 and 44 stations. The photographer is looking aft and to starboard. Against the starboard side of the ship is a bench with shelves under it. The scuttles are open and between them is the control panel for the deep fat fryer. In the corner on the right is a deep fat fryer and next to it is an electric range, both by Moorwoods of Sheffield.
