Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion
A half plate glass negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the machine engineer and ordnance workshop on the starboard side of 2 deck between 46¼ and 49 stations. The photographer is looking to starboard and in the centre is an universal machine tool. Against the forward bulkhead is a workbench equipped with three different sizes of vice, the centre one being a Fortis No. 12. On the aft bulkhead are four double storage cupboards.
