Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion

A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the P.Os mess on the port side of 2 deck between 49 and 55¾ stations. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard from near the fireplace showing pairs of settee bunks, the greatcoat locker with a noticeboard fitted it, and the mess doorway. There are no soft furnishings, tables or chairs.
