Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion

A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the P.Os mess on the port side of 2 deck between 49 and 55¾ stations. The photographer is looking forward along the port side showing five pairs of bunks, kit lockers, a radiator and a greatcoat locker. There are no soft furnishings. A shipyard painter has mistakenly painted 52½ on the aft bulkhead instead of 55¾.
