Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion
A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the transmitter room on the starboard side of 2 deck between 49 and 52 stations. The photographer is looking forward on the starboard side showing a supply cabinet on the left. On the forward bulkhead is the Type 89Q Admiralty pattern 59593 transmitter. On the right is Type 691 transmitter No. 1 and two Type 619H units are on top of a bench equipped with a morse key.
