Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion

A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the canteen on 2 deck between 51½ and 54 stations. The photographer is looking forward and to port showing a drinking water cooler mounted on a drawer unit with wire mesh covering the motor. The entrance door is fitted with a hinged service counter. Hign and low level cupboards on the forward bulkhead are fitted with wire mesh doors. A safe with a radiator above is next to a three drawer unit. A table is on the right.
