Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion

A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the CPOs and POs dining hall on the starboard side of 2 deck between 53 and 56½ stations. The photographer is looking aft into the pantry through one of the serving hatches showing the Heatrae electric hot cupboard in the foreground. On the extreme right is a toaster on the inboard bulkhead. An hot water urn and a drying rack are over the sink unit. The entrance door is on the left with a worktop, refrigerator and plate racks beyond it.
