Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion

A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the CPOs mess on the starboard side of 2 deck between 56½ and 61½ stations. The photographer is looking to port from the starboard forward end showing a three tier bunk unit with the bunks in the stowed position. An emergency lamp is in the door lobby. A greatcoat locker and kit lockers are on the right with a noticeboard and a litter bin fixed to the side of the lockers.
