Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion

A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the crews bathroom on the port side of 2 deck between 55¾ and 60¾ stations. The photographer is looking forward in the washbasin space. Four washbasins are on either side and a mirror is provided over each basin. Three taps are on the forward bulkhead, one cold, one hot and one fitted with a hose connector. A wooden bench seat is provided.
