Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion
A half plate glass negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the main passage on 2 deck at station 59 looking aft. On the left bulkhead is the information concerning the accommodation on 3 deck to where the hatch, out of the picture on the left, leads. An emergency lamp, fire extinguishing equipment, fuse and distribution boxes, a telephone and a tannoy are on the starboard bulkhead. The door to the mortar well at 61½ station is in the centre with the sick bay door to the left and the crews WCs door to the right. A glazed notice board is in the port bulkhead.
