Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion
A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the main passage on 2 deck at station 33 looking aft. On the left are a distribution panel, emergency connection box, fire precautions notice board, cable stowage space, door to the wardroom pantry, stairs leading up to 1 deck and the hatch leading down to 3 deck. The watertight door at 41 station is open and a senior rating is moving in the passage further aft. On the port side are a transformer, first aid box, door to ordnance records office, a roll of air hose wrapped around a breathing apparatus cabinet, door to the officers WCs, fuse and distribution panels.
