Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion
A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the main passage on 2 deck at station 31 looking forward through the open watertight door towards the gunbay. On the left is an emergency lamp, a suggestion box, emergency connection boxes, two breathing apparatus cabinets with associated air hoses, hatch down to 3 deck, emergency lamp and first aid box. On the starboard side are the door into the transmitting station annexe, a fire main and hose point, the sliding door into the stabiliser and plane converter compartment, hatch down to 3 deck and stairs up to 1 deck. A tannoy is on the gunbay.
