Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion
A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the main passage on 2 deck at station 27 looking aft. On the left are a fire precautions notice board, the sliding door into the stabiliser and plane converter compartment, a fire main and hose point and the door into the transmitting station annexe. On the port side are the hatch down to 3 deck with a salvus locker above it, a distribution panel, two breathing apparatus cabinets with associated air hoses, a suggestion box, an emergency lamp and the door into the regulating office. The watertight door at 30½ station is closed.
