Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion
A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the ship's and supply office on 3 deck between 32¼ and 35½ stations. The photographer is looking forward and slightly to starboard. The door to the office is on the right and it is fitted with a hinged service counter. An emergency lamp is to the left of the door and a stack of parcels is on the deck. Two desks are against the forward bulkhead, one has a sliding door cupboard above it and the other has two pigeon hole racks above it. A Pye calender is on the inboard bulkhead above the desk.
