Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion

A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the ship's and supply office on 3 deck between 32¼ and 35½ stations. The photographer is looking aft and to starboard. On the aft bulkhead is a desk with a Remington typewriter on it and a double sliding door cupboard above it. A noticeboard is fixed to the starboard bulkhead above the end of the desk. A radiator, two drawer filing cabinet, combination safe and sliding door cupboard are on the bulkhead between the desk and the doorway.
