Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion

A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the electrical officer's cabin No. 18 on the port side of 3 deck between 39 and 41 stations. The photographer is looking forward showing a folding wash basin with a toiletries cabinet above, a shelf with a noticeboard above and a telephone on the forward bulkhead. The bed berth with a secretaire and a chest of drawers under it is on the starboard bulkhead and a tubular steel armchair is supplied. A vertical format negative.
