Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion
A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the engine room on 4 deck between 49 and 57 stations. The photographer is on the main platform on the port side of the port turbine looking forward. On the left is a workbench fitted with a Fortis No. 12 steel vice. On the right is the port turbine and two gauges are labelled 'Mn turbine control valve eng. side' and 'main turbine receiver belt'.
