Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion
A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the seamen's mess on 3 deck between 68 and 75 stations. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard showing a mess rack and three mess tables with bench seats. Hammock stowage, bunk settees, two bread lockers and a nest of tea and sugar lockers are against the starboard side and kit lockers are against the forward bulkhead. A radiator is on the side of the hammock stowage.
