Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion
A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the electrical workshop on 4 deck between 29½ and 31 stations. The photographer is looking to port from the port from the starboard side. On the aft bulkhead is a workbench fitted with two large vices. A pitometer log controller is next to the workbench. On the forward bulkhead is the pitometer log speed and distance transmitter. The ladder up to the L.M.E's and M.E's mess on 3 deck is in the centre with a wire mesh bulkhead separating the sroes area from the working area.
