Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion
A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the electrical workshop on 4 deck between 29½ and 31 stations. The photographer is looking to starboard from the centreline. On the aft bulkhead is a workbench divided into three stations, each fitted with a large vice. A waste bin with a hinged lid is under a telephone shelf on the forward bulkhead and cupboards over a bench are against the starboard side of the ship. A vertical format negative.
