Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion

A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the cooling machinery compartment on the starboard side of 4 deck between 33 and 35½ stations. The photographer is looking to port from the starboard side showing the brine pump and food machinery unit No. 1 on the right. Air conditioning machines Nos. 2 and 3 are on the left with a three drawer cupboard unit between them and condensers at high level. The refrigeration control panel is on the port bulkhead to the left of the door. The installation is by J & E Hall Ltd of Dartford.
