Yarmouth (1959) on board views on completion
A half plate sheet film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the south-east corner of the fitting out basin in John Brown & Co Ltd's shipyard at Clydebank. In the gunners store on 4 deck between 65 and 67¼ stations. The photographer is looking to port showing pigeon holes for small spares and bins for steel helmets on the right. On the left is a papers and manuals rack above a nest of drawers for small spares and carbine magazines and a general purpose cupboard. Mounted on the cupboard is a No. 12 vice. On the port bulkhead is a rack from gun mounting spares.
