Hardy (1953). Inside the main communications office.
A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Blackwood class type 14 frigate Hardy (1953) at Gibraltar. In the main communications office between stations 22½ and 27½ on the port side of 1 deck. The photographer is looking aft from the centre of the office showing four large Racal receiver cabinets on flexible mountings on the deck, each fitted with a fan on the top. Other units are behind and beyond them. An Imperial typewriter is on a shelf against the aft bulkhead with a swivel chair in front of it.
