A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. In the auxiliary machinery compartment on 4 deck between 41 and 45 stations. The photographer is looking at a mass of lagged pipework, one of which is marked 'sea'. This pipework is presumably at one end of the diesel generator. A vertical format negative.
