A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the naval store on 3 deck between 8 and 12½ stations. The photographer is looking aft and to port from near the starboard forward end of the store. A wire enclosure surrounds the watertight hatch leading down the the Hull outfit 15 type 170B sonar on 4 deck. A radiator is on the pillar in the left foreground. Rack D is in the background and on the right is the board for storing spare pressure gauges of various types. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972.
