Rhyl (1959). In the P.Os mess on 2 deck.

A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the P.Os mess on the starboard side of 2 deck between 56 and 61½ stations. The photographer is looking to port and slightly aft from the starboard forward corner showing a settee berth on the right, the closed door in the centre with a radiator, automatic emergency lantern and letter rack to the left of it and armchairs on the left. Beyond the armchairs are the bunk units in the sleeping area. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972.
