A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the junior rates dining hall on the starboard side of 2 deck between 52 and 56 stations. The photographer is looking aft and to starboard into the pantry from the port forward corner of the hall. On the extreme left is a cupboard and drawer unit with a multi-slice toaster above it and a chilled water dispensing unit next to it. Storage bins are under a worktop with two water cylinders on top. Glass or perspex covered units and a plate rack are on the right. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972.
