A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Rothesay class type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Devonport Dockyard. In the passageway on 2 deck between stations 26 and 31 looking aft. In the right foreground is a watertight hatch leading down to 3 deck and beyond it is the sliding door to the P.Os mess. A fire hose storage point is just before the watertight door at 31 station. On the left is the door to the A/S stabiliser and plane converter compartment. The photograph was taken prior to 9 May 1972. A vertical format negative.
