The photographer is on the forecastle in the eyes of the ship looking aft showing the arrangement of the anchor cables, hawse holes and the twin-headed steam capstan. Her 4.5 inch gun turret and MRS3 director are trained off the starboard bow. Bull Point and the Tamar Bridge are in the background
