A port side view of the Cunard Line cruise ship Carinthia (1925) at anchor in Saltsjon at Stockholm, Sweden

A slightly distant port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Cunard Line cruise ship Carinthia (1925) at anchor in Saltsjon at Stockholm, Sweden. The ship is in a white hull livery. The photographer is in an elevated position in the Sodermalm district looking east showing the cranes and wharves on the south side of the Saltsjon. The photograph was taken late in the evening on a timed exposure such that light trails of passing vessels are seen on the negative and there is some image movement of the main subject. See negative number P83483 for a similar view taken during the day.
