A 35 mm roll film negative. On board the commando carrier Hermes (1953) alongside 6 and 7 wharves in the north yard of Devonport Dockyard in early July 1973 towards the end of her conversion from a fixed wing aircraft carrier to a commando carrier. She recommissioned after conversion on 18 August 1973. The photographer is above the port flight (1) deck walkway looking aft from 168 station. Fire point No. 18, a locker and a power outlet point are in the walkway and the winch and gantry for the aft LCVP (landing craft vehicle and personnel) are beyond the walkway. A vertical format negative.
