A starboard bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company passenger liner and cruise ship Chusan (1950) at anchor in an unknown French Mediterranean Coast location. Her port anchor is deployed and she is flying the French courtesy flag at the foremast head. She is fitted with a Thornycroft type funnel cap. The horizon is not quite level. Negatives numbers N83516, N83517 and N83531 were taken on the same occasion. The acetate negative has a blue discolouration and is showing the early signs of reticulation.
