A roll film negative. On board the submarine Sealion (1959) towards the end of a long refit at Portsmouth. The photographer is in the forward torpedo compartment looking to port and overhead from the starboard side between 22 and 23 stations showing No. 2 torpedo tube door on the right of the picture. Under the deckhead is the hydroplane tilting cylinder. An automatic emergency lantern is above a forward planes indicator box. A vertical format negative.
