A roll film negative. On board the submarine Sealion (1959) towards the end of a long refit at Portsmouth. The photographer is in the forward torpedo compartment looking to starboard, aft and up from the centreline at 33 station showing a pressure gauge on the starboard side. Under the deckhead are a B.I.B.S. H.P. press gauge, a B.I.B.S. L. P. press gauge, handwheels, pipes and an automatic emergency lantern. Against the aft bulkhead is an amplifier assembly control panel. A vertical format negative.
