The photographer is in the mortar metadyne power room between 64 and 67 stations on 3 deck looking aft and to starboard showing a metadyne generator in the centre of the compartment. On the starboard side are two amplifier assembly cabinets and a control panel. Against the aft bulkhead are two junction boxes and a large fuse panel. On the port side are two amplifier test racks with two metadyne starters above them.
